From Finland, moved to America alone at the age of 20.
Male, 22 years old.
Living in Building Two of
#Heta-Complex , New York.
Works at a day care. Formerly a sniper for the Russian mafia and Finnish military. His parents died when he was five years old. It's not a particularly traumatic memory for him, since he was staying with a relative in Russia at the time. He was never to close to his workaholic parents anyway and spent most of his time with nannies.
He speaks four languages: Finnish, Swedish, Russian, and (most recently) English. His English, while improving, tends to be jumbled when dealing with complex sentence structures, as well as when he's stressed or tired. When speaking poorly about other people, he speaks in Finnish. When speaking poorly about himself, he speaks in Russian. When talking to himself neutrally, he'll speak in either English or Swedish, his two weakest languages.
He generally very friendly. Even if you make him mad, he'll probably just smile and laugh it off... but you should probably start sleeping with one eye open.
He joined the mafia "officially" when he was ten. He started killing people when he was twelve. He was conscripted (as all Finnish boys are) into the miliary eighteen. He completed his training in six months, served for around twenty-four months and was eventually discharged for unknown reasons. No one knows whether his name is still kept in reserves.
He's a very maternal person, surprisingly. He often acts as a mother to people without close family.
He is incredibly insecure about his weight. He'll often diet for long periods of time, find himself too thin, then start eating to gain weight again. Then he'll feel he's gained too much and go back to strict, near-starvation diets.
He's only MOSTLY retired from the mafia. Though, if they need someone important dead, he usually goes missing for a few days and comes back slightly more distant. He always snaps back to normal within a day or so, though.
His one food weakness is anything with licorice.
He's absolutely useless in the morning unless he's had three cups of black coffee. Sometimes with vodka if he's in the right mood.
He chain smokes cigarettes when he's stressed. He usually goes through a pack a day if he's "on business".
Tino doesn't cry out of sadness usually--only frustration. If a situation arises, his first reaction is to be calm, then angry and he begins to cry. It's a habit he wishes he could break.
He has an alcohol problem. He tries not to drink so he won't fall back into bad habits again. He's either very giddy and chatty while drunk (more so and less understandable than when sober), or incredibly violent.
Despite his horrible habits, he's actually very religious. He grew up in the Lutheran Church of Finland and holds true to most of those beliefs.
He has no problems with killing or stealing--however, he hates drug use with a passion. Nicotine doesn't count! Marijuana, cocaine, meth, heroin, or anything along those lines he has no tolerance for.
